2 N Echo-2 S Bertha A tornado touched down just north of the intersection of County Road 69 and Highway 27 in northeast Dale County. It damaged several homes, an automobile, and several storage sheds. Three people suffered minor injuries. Two goats were killed by the flying debris. Dale County was declared a state disaster area.
