6 NW Gateswood A brief, weak EF0 tornado occurred within a field and adjacent forest between Wiggins Still Road and Mosquito Fork Road. High resolution satellite imagery revealed a narrow, brief path which lined up well with a weak velocity couplet and tornado debris signature identified off KMOB radar data. The tornado caused minor tree damage along its track and was preceded to the northwest by a strong swath of damaging winds estimated in the 70 to 85 mph range.
