Event Narrative

A weak tornado touched down near a home in the Straughn community. The weak tornado stayed on the ground for about a mile. The tornado damaged a home that had just been repaired from damage that it received during hurricane Ivan. The home suffered roof and siding damage from the tornado. A pump house was also destroyed. Several trees were also blown down. Although someone was in the attic of the home when the tornado damaged the roof, they were not injured.
