Cowerts A third tornado briefly swept through a small area in Cowarts, along the north side of US-84. The main damage were a few uprooted large trees, a couple of which fell onto the side of a home and on top of a parked car. Other trees in the vicinity sustained more minor damage and a couple of neighboring outbuildings had some roof panels stripped. These damages are consistent with an EF-0. A slow moving cold front brought multiple rounds of severe weather to the tri-state region from April 5-7. Several tornadoes occurred along with numerous reports of wind damage and a few reports of large hail. None of the tornadoes were rated stronger than EF1.
