1 N - 1 E Oak Grove This brief tornado touched down near Roaring Creek and damaged some trees near the intersection of County Routes 38 and 52 before lifting. Damage was consistent with EF-0. Start: 31.1022/-85.7740 End: 31.0862/-85.7594

An EF0 tornado briefly touched down with damage consisting of snapped trees. Max winds were estimated around 75 mph.
A potent upper trough moved across the southeast states with numerous severe storms, including widespread wind damage and tornadoes. The tri-state area was under an enhanced to moderate risk of severe storms from the Storm Prediction Center. Some of the tornadoes were significant and rated EF2. Unfortunately, one fatality occurred in southeast Alabama.
