A brief tornado touched down in Arley blew down several street signs, including one that blew into and snapped a power pole. This tornado was associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Fay.

Tropical Storm Fay, and its remnants after landfall, brought high winds, heavy rain, and numerous tornadoes to Central Alabama.
